About Scottish Quads

Scottish Quads was set up in 2001 by local couple Charlie & Fiona Cameron, initially as a summer activity to complement our other seasonal business in Christmas Tree supply. The business was mainly created to provide quad biking and Landrover driving to nearby Corporate Entertainment companies, whom we still maintain strong links with.

It quickly became apparent that there was a demand locally and from further afield for leisure quad biking, and when we were lucky enough to be offered the fantastic site at Tomnagrew Farm to use, the decision to set up www.scottishquads.co.uk and supply the public directly was an easy one.

Tomnagrew and the neighbouring Tomnagairn are working farms owned and farmed by the Bryce family, who are happy to welcome quad biking as part of their agricultural diversification. This gives us access to vast, varied and interesting areas of farmland which we believe is unequalled by any other quad bike operator in Scotland. Indeed, the experience of being on the farm and out on the hills, and seeing the farm animals and spectacular wildlife close up, is as good as the quad biking for some of our clients!

Over the past few seasons the business has gone from strength to strength, with new quads being bought each year meaning we have gone from our humble start with 6 to now having over 50 at our disposal, with 32 based at Tomnagrew. The demand for more than one motorised activity from our larger groups prompted us to invest in the Argocats this year, which are proving a huge success and have genuinely surprised us with their ability.

Along the way we have also done a great deal of off-site work with the quads which has been extremely useful experience. From as nearby as Kenmore, through lots of events in Edinburgh and Glasgow to as far afield as Ayr or even Manchester! We are also happy to lend our support where we can and have supplied quad biking to such events as The Scouts' Association centenary camp, The Scottish Fire Service Benevolent Fund 'Ladies Driving Challenge' at Knockhill, and have been proud to welcome large parties from the British Limbless Ex-Servicemen's Association in nearby Crieff. We have also donated quad biking vouchers as prizes to various local charity events.

We now have a core team of 5 who can instruct quad bike sessions at any time, and many more instructors available to us locally. 2 of our team are qualified mechanics and we do all of our maintenance in-house, which means we know our machines intimately. While the odd breakdown is inevitable at this level, these are surprisingly rare and we have never yet been unable to give a client another quad bike right away.

We look forward to welcoming you to Scottish Quads!
